Meow Everybody!
WE ARE MAYA & THAI
What we know for sure is that we are sisters. Nevertheless, we have some problems with our taxonomy. How do we look like, does not go in hand with how do we behave... Let´s see, we look like cats but, according to our humans, we behave like dogs... This issue seems to persist as unsolved but we are fine with that. We are happy with the current state of things, so who cares about the definitions?
Let´s introduce ourselves to you:
Maya
I am two years old girl. I like to give the impression of an independent but I do not feel okay when I am alone. I like to cuddle but always with my conditions. If I want to cuddle I will look for you and if not, please do not disturb me and do not waste my time. I set this rule straight to my humans from the day one, and it seems that generally they got it but still there are some days when they go crazy, grab me tight and start kissing and cuddling. I lost all my hopes to remove them this inappropriate behavior, so I just stay calm and wait until they finish. My humans are always repeating that I am their white crazy sparkle. I do not know what they mean by that but as it does not sound offensive I do not protest.
In my spare time...
... if I do not sleep, I play. And if I play, I play like a PRO! My favorite play is to fetch. I adore fetching plastic bottle tops. I am sure that there is no dog on this earth who is fetching better than me. Let´s be frank, I am out of the competition. If it would depend on me, I would spend the day bringing back to my humans the plastic bottle tops that they throw me. I do not get why these humans get tired so fast and do not want to follow the game. In the end, I am the one who is moving all the time...
One more thing: I am a perfect host! If you would come to my house I will welcome you as the first one from our whole family. I will offer you a meow and rub against you tenderly. Sorry for not opening the door but the door handle is too high for me. Hope to find the solution soon.

Thai
Hi! I am Thai, Maya´s sister. Despite having two years, I am a little baby in our family. If I could, I would spend the whole day and night just next to my Meowmy. I follow her everywhere and assist her in everything. In spite of her saying that she is fine alone, I am convinced that she always needs my helping paw during the day. I am her official personal assistant. Let´s make it clear, I am more loyal and helpful than any dog can be! At night, I watch for my Meowmy too. I like to place myself between her arm and chest and cuddle tightly to her body. Sometimes it happens, that she doesn´t want to make room for me so I start purring and meowing just next to her ear. The combination of continuous purring with night walks over her legs and chest help to persuade her fast. As you can imagine, I can be quite pertinacious and single-minded in the pursuit of my goals. ];P
I make my humans laugh constantly due to my expressive eyes and mouth. One curious fact related to my mouth: a big part of my lower right lip is black. As a consequence, my humans give me a pirate nickname: Thai The Black Lip. I like the name.
In my spare time...
...I follow my Meowmy throughout the house. I do not find joy in playing alone. I get bored really fast. I definitely prefer team plays: with my humans or with Maya.
One more thing about me: When I was little, everyone repeated constantly that I should behave more properly. I still do not understand what they meant...
